Can I update my incorrect Companies House accounts (still before due date) by submitting via TinyTax?

Can I update my incorrect Companies House accounts (still before due date) by submitting via TinyTax? Only the button isn't active and it (correctly) tells me I've submitted the accounts.

Unfortunately, TinyTax can only amend accounts that were originally filed through TinyTax. This is a limitation of the Companies House filing system - amendments must be submitted by the same software that filed the original accounts.

Since your accounts were filed using different software, you have two options:

1. Use the original software - Go back to the software you used to file the original accounts and submit the amendment through that system

2. File paper amendments - Download the corrected accounts as PDF and post them to Companies House with a covering letter explaining the corrections

If you're unsure which software was used for the original filing, you can check your Companies House filing history at the

https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/.

For any future filings made through TinyTax, you'll be able to amend them directly from your dashboard using the "Amend Accounts" option.
