Confusing icon

Why TinyTax cannot visually distinguish the detected-existing accounts, and TinyTax-submitted accounts?

There is no separate icon such as:

“Filed by TinyTax”

“Detected externally”

“Pending Companies House”

This is a design limitation.

Thank you for this feedback - you're absolutely right that this could be clearer.

Currently, TinyTax syncs filing status from Companies House, so accounts filed elsewhere (like via WebFiling) shows a gray tick and accounts filed through TinyTax shows a green tick. We can see how this is confusing, especially when you're trying to confirm whether your TinyTax submission went through.

We're working on improvements to show:

- Clear distinction between "Filed via TinyTax" and "Detected from CH"

- Submission timestamps and confirmation details

- Better visibility of pending/in-progress filings
