Only filing 1 period

I need to file only CT600 Period 2 for 23/03/2025 to 31/03/2025. Period 1 for 23/03/2024 to 22/03/2025 was already filed with HMRC elsewhere. Your help articles mention “CT600 with custom dates” and “Mark a Prior CT600 as Filed Elsewhere”, but neither route is available to me in the current dashboard flow. Please tell me the exact current steps in the app to file only the short HMRC period today without re-submitting Period 1.

For your situation — where Period 1 was already filed with HMRC elsewhere — you don't need the "Filed Elsewhere" route at all. The simplest approach is to go straight to filing Period 2 using the custom dates link:

This bypasses the dashboard dropdown entirely and shows the date fields straight away.

What to do:

1. Open the link above
2. Search for DIGITAL EXPERIMENT LIMITED and select it
3. Set the dates as: Period start 23/03/2025, Period end 31/03/2025
4. Enter the figures for just this short 9-day period
5. Submit to HMRC as normal

You don't need to mark Period 1 as "Filed Elsewhere" first — the custom dates link bypasses that requirement entirely.
