For example, a plan shown as £99/year is charged as £99 + 20% VAT at the checkout stage.
Can I Get a VAT Invoice?
Yes. After each payment, Stripe (our payment processor) emails you a receipt that includes our VAT number and a VAT breakdown. You can also download invoices from your billing page.
If your accounting software requires a supplier VAT number, you can find ours on any Stripe invoice or by searching for our company on the HMRC VAT registration checker.
Is the Subscription an Allowable Business Expense?
Yes. Tax filing software is an allowable business expense. You can include the net (ex-VAT) amount in your company's administrative expenses when preparing your CT600. If your company is VAT registered, you can reclaim the VAT as input tax.
